  1. Each institution in the North West Staff Developers Network decide if they wish to participate.
  2. Institution nominates a lead for the Action Learning Network and an Action Learning Set Facilitator.  The lead will be responsible for recruiting Set Members, Hosting Set Meetings, Hosting Training Events and the facilitator will be responsible for Set Facilitation.  The expectation will be one meeting per institution over a period of one year with sets meeting once every two months - ie meeting 6 times over a one year period.
  3. Cross Institutional Action Learning Network is publicised in participating institution and potential set members are invited to a launch event webinar or half day event.
  4. Initial launch event is run as a webinar/half day event to include: Introduction to Action Learning, the purpose of the Network, dates for set meeting at the host institutions, details on how to become a Set Member or a Facilitator.
  5. Those who are interesting in participating as Set Members join the network.
  6. Host institution organises date, venue and refreshments for the meeting they are hosting.
  7. All those who have signed up are placed in an Action Learning Set.
  8. Sets commence and are inititally facilitated by the institutional facilitator.
  9. Evaluation is undertaken from feedback from all facilitators and set members on an annual basis.
